ANGAU Radiology configured in Moana with integration to the existing PACS
The Radiology department at ANGAU Memorial Provincial Hospital is mapped and configured in Moana, with go live at ANGAU expected in the coming weeks.
With the radiology team, Moana reviewed the radiology workspace and its integration with the hospital’s existing PACS. The review confirmed that the department’s requirements are covered by existing functionality, and no further mapping was needed.
From request to report
An imaging request originates from the clinician’s order in the patient record and appears on the radiology worklist by modality and priority. Studies are viewed through the integrated archive.
The report returns to the requesting clinician, where it sits with laboratory results and clinical notes in the same record.
Diagnostic information in one record
Holding imaging reports alongside laboratory results and notes gives the treating clinician one view of the diagnostic information for each patient, rather than reports held separately by each department.
